Is it worth selling in China Apple iPhone?

The iPhone 5S and 5C will be available in stores Apple and China Mobile from Friday 17 January.Customers can register to buy one from Wednesday 25 December.

Apple has agreed to provide iPhones to China Mobile.

The deal could boost sales of iPhones in China. Demand for iPhones, popular in China until recently, has plummeted in recent years due to the arrival of the Chinese handset market with more affordable prices.

The companies did not announce price or contract terms. State-owned China Mobile has over 750 million mobile accounts.

The iPhone is popular worldwide, has faced stiff competition in recent years with cheaper devices that have installed Google’s Android software. In general, the Android phones are sold now more than Apple iPhones.
