20th anniversary of the National Week of Science and Technology
The National Week of Science and Technology CONACYT, located in the Zocalo, has been visited by 44 thousand until yesterday 473 people who have traveled eight thousand square meters with activities designed for children and youth, primarily.
This was announced by the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) in a statement, which said that this year the National Week of Science and Technology celebrates its 20th anniversary and its main theme “Discovery and Innovation”.
Reported that Enrique Cabrero Mendoza and René Drucker, holders of CONACYT and the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (SECITI) of the Federal District, respectively, toured the exhibits and workshops on display in the Zocalo as part of the National Week of Science and Technology.
Conacyt outlined that in addition to the children’s and youth activities in the tents set up in the Plaza of the Constitution has a pavilion dedicated to the exhibition of a dozen Mexican successful innovation projects funded by the Council.
He mentioned that this is the second time in a row, the event is in the Zocalo of Mexico City, where he will stay until 14 November.
