Assassin’s Creed film will be delayed a few months

The film based on the popular video game series Assassin’s Creed will be delayed a few months. The premiere, scheduled for June 9, 2015, passed August 7 of that year, as announced by Hollywood Reporter.

The adaptation of Ubisoft titles is being conducted through a partnership between the developer and producer New Regency (Pretty Woman, Mr. & Mrs. Smith). The actor Michael Fassbender will be the main star of the film.

The script is provided by the British Michael Lesslie and Scott Frank (Wolverine), although Ubisoft has said that it will maintain “creative control” over the project and to “respect history and fans of the videogame franchise.”
