Dogs have a version of Google Glass
This version of Google Glass has the code name FIDO (Facilitating Interaction for Dogs with occupations, for its acronym in English) and it is involved Thad Starner, technical director of Google Glass, who along with researchers are experimenting with various devices to see which one best fits the dog.
Activities such as explosives detection or search for bodies would benefit from this device, but also seeks to integrate other as the guide for the blind.
It is assumed that having one of these gadgets, the police canine unit could have better control of what they see dogs so make orders remotely. Dogs will have a harness and computer could be trained to activate a sensor through a bite, it will send information to its owner.
There are no estimated release date, much less is known whether it is available for all types of dogs.
