Google and Samsung sign patent agreement

As expected, finally, Samsung Electronics Co., signed an agreement with Google Inc. to share its patents. The purpose of the agreement, reduce the risk of dispute over intellectual property and probably the collaboration between the two technology giants.

Google said that the deal allows both firms reduce the potential for litigation and focus on innovation. For Samsung, will allow greater collaboration in research and development for both. Even as they worked together in multi telephones and televisions.

Samsung, maker of the Galaxy devices to Android system, has legal disputes with Apple. The directors of Samsung and Apple will be presented next week at a hearing to try to reach an agreement at the request of a U.S. court.
