IPhone 6 phablet expected to steal business to Android
An Apple iPhone 6 larger model would help get the added benefits and market share in the mobile business, ISI Group analyst Brian Marshall revealed in a note to investors obtained by AppleInsider.
According to analyst, the first Apple phablet boost “significant improvements among iPhone users” and also convert many Android users to iOS, once the screen size between the two competing platforms is reached. Therefore, a screen size of about 5 inches will be responsible for modernizing and updating cycles so far known to Apple.
Marshall says that current iPhone users are based on about 260 million, with more than half of sales. In a regular room, about 9% of the total number of iPhone users upgrade to a newer model, the analyst says, with the percentage rising to 14% for the quarter.
Many reports from various sources also suggest Apple will release at least two models of iPhone 6 this year, with larger screen sizes than the current 4-inch screen used in the iPhone and iPhone 5S 5C.
