This will be the last meteor shower of 2013
The meteor shower will occur from Thursday until Monday. Prepare their telescopes, the passage of the Geminids, the most intense annual meteor shower of the year, will peak on Friday night, but the best view will be on Saturday morning when the moon sets.
It is expected to be able to see between 100 and 120 meteors per hour at the peak, but scientists say the bright moon will interfere and reduce the number of visible meteors in half, so the best view will be near dawn Sabbath.
The Geminids come from a small asteroid named 3200 Phaethon, which passes fairly close to the Sun
Your queue up the dust and debris Geminids. The Earth passes through the path of waste each December.
