Nelson Mandela will be remembered by the whole world
The posthumous parade took place for three days, from 11 to 13 December, when the body of Mandela is directed to a chapel installed in the Union Buildings complex, the headquarters of the South African government.
The coffin with the remains of former South African President Nelson Mandela next week will travel the streets of Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, according to the Government of India reported.
“Every morning, when the remains out of the morgue to the funeral chapel, those routes will be made public,” said Neo Nomodu, director of the Office of Communication and Information Management (GCIS), told reporters in Johannesburg.
“We will encourage citizens to take to the streets while (the coffin) march through the streets of Pretoria to the Union Buildings,” Momodu, who stressed that the access of citizens to monitor the chapel is said.
Holders for accreditation will have to use an official bus to access the wake at the seat of government, where they will be allowed to enter with cameras pointed the personera.
The state funeral will be held by Mandela on 15 December in Qunu (South East), the town where he lived his childhood, said South African President Jacob Zuma.
