Watch Samsung Galaxy S4 can burn!
Richard Wygand, up a You Tube video in which the mobile is seen smoking while charging.
The phone did not explode, but it is very likely would have done if I had kept connected to the power outlet, and the battery would not have withstood these temperatures.
Richard terminal was under warranty, so the Korean brand had to take care of the repair or replacement with a new one.
The young Canadian began the paperwork to start the process of change, but instead of receiving another Galxy S4, came in the mail a letter in which he promised a new Samsung mobile in exchange for her silence: I had to delete the video from You Tube and not tell anyone what had happened.
Instead of accepting the offer of Samsung, Wygand decided to record a video in which he is outraged telling what happened, and how despite having a mobile defective under warranty, the manufacturer has not taken over anything.
Samsung Canada has not denied that sent the letter, but neither has confirmed the contents of the same, according to Business Insider.
The same website published the letter contract that has allegedly received Wygand, which includes clauses as juicy as:
“As a condition of the telephone exchange for a similar model, *** agrees to withdraw its Youtube video with this link or any other link or statement relating to these matters and should refrain from making statements or other videos or relating to the matters contained herein. “
Hopefully Samsung will give you a new phone to Richard and to investigate why her phone was set on fire to prevent further similar incidents.
