Facebook creates its own search engine and says goodbye to Bing
Facebook reports more than one billion searches a day in your social network , and all using Bing, who was until now the default search engine on your page.
And Facebook has launched its own browser as advertised will be more geared to the interests of the social network, allowing easier way to find not only people but messages and postings have been made.
If you have not seen the update on your Facebook page, not be long before you receive it.
A blow to Bing, to stop processing a large number of searches a day and a move that seems very smart and very interests to Facebook, you will surely be exploited for a few dollars more by sellingadvertising and other benefits they can obtain.
Of course the winner and very long in this business will remain Google, although we do not see on the horizon any service that can compete with those offered by Mountain View . We’ll see how positive and negative consequences of this drastic change from Facebook and a moderator will see when they start using it.
