Last 14 editions, the research firm Interbrand published its list of the most valuable brands in the world. And there, at the top, always Coca-Cola.

If the list is worth to represent where the business of mass consumption is played, technology companies dominate six of the ten top positions. It is IBM (fourth, with 78,800 million), Microsoft (fifth, with 59,550 million), Samsung (eighth with 39.610 million) and Intel (ninth with 37.260 million). General Electric, McDonald’s and Toyota completed.
The ranking also serves to reflect the interplay of forces in the technology industry. In fact, Interbrand says Samsung can get to enjoy the scepter to Apple devices if the South Korean brand still retain this market dominance. They, along with Google, which were spread over the cake.
